We want to place an employee with you who will fit the sensitive needs of the entire family. Prior to contacting us, we ask that you have a discussion with your spouse or partner (if applicable) about your needs, expectations, and preferences. For example: you may be comfortable with a live-in nanny and it is important to communicate with your partner to ensure that you have the same preferences. Please take note of any special needs or requirements you have for your employee. It is very important for everyone in the family to agree on the basic requirements for the employee before we start the placement and recruitment process.
Some examples of important discussion:
Are you more comfortable with a live-in or live-out situation? Do you need an employee to live-in and go home on her/his days off or will they be permitted to live with you year round? Do you plan to offer benefits and paid vacation time? What salary and perks will the position include? Will I need overtime or staff on the holidays? Do your children have any special needs that require special skills or training? We recommend taking the time over the course of a few days to take notes on the important details and contact us when you have a full assessment of your needs.
